A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to travel to my company's world headquarters in Rhode Island. While there, we had a department team day which happened to be in Newport, RI. We took a late morning boat ride around the Newport area and into the Atlantic, then had a beautiful lunch on the lawn at Castle Hill Inn. On our way out, we slowly drove past some of the iconic mansions like the Breakers, the Elms, and Rosecliff (I hear some of the mansions do tours too, so I would definitely recommend that if you're ever in the area!). Even though it was a cloudy day, it was still absolutely stunning. Plus, there's no better way to get to know your corporate team than being in a non-work environment taking in these beautiful sights together. Check out some of my pictures below --
Being in Newport made me realize how much more of the Northeast I'd like to see. Before this trip, I'd only been to NYC. While NYC is an amazing city, there are so many beautiful areas near the ocean that I can't wait to explore... when summer rolls around again, of course! If you've been to the Northeast, what are some of your favorite places to visit?
